Class fee $1025.00

Anyone with Reiki Master from any lineage.

Instructor
William Lee Rand

This class includes Holy Fire II Reiki

Come to the amazingly beautiful and pristine Hana coast of Maui and become a Karuna Reiki Master. The Hana coast is recognized as one of the few remaining parts of Hawaii that retains the old Hawaiian energy. Sparsely populated and situated along a rugged coast, this is truly one of the most wonderful places in the world. There are no high rises and just one hotel. (But many vacation rentals, see listing below). With a total population of just 1800 along the whole coast - it's not crowded! There's lots of waterfalls, beaches and hiking trails to enjoy. The energy here is very peaceful, but also intensily spiritual. This is truely a very special place.

Take Reiki training and a vacation at the same time!

Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki® Training
This class is the next step after Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and a Master class. Those who take the class will be able to use the Karuna symbols in their Reiki sessions and teach all levels of Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki®. You will also be able to teach Reiki I&II and ART/Master as Holy Fire II classes. It is complete with eight practitioner symbols, one master symbol, three ignitions and two meditations that are guided directly by the Holy Fire.

Holy Fire II Upgrade
In this class you will receive the Holy Fire II upgrade for Karuna Reiki®. This upgrade will allow you to give Ignitions which are attunement like experiences. Ignitions do the same thing as attunements, but are done differently. You will also be taught how to give Placements for Reiki I&II and ART. Placements are like Ignitions but are used for the the beginning levels of Reiki training. You will also be able to use Ignitions for the Usui/Holy Fire II Master class. Ignitions are much easier to give than attunements, yet, are more effective. This makes the class easier to teach as you will not be taking the time to demonstrate, and practice attunements in class which allows more time to practice using the Karuna symbols in sessions. The Ignition system provides a more effective level of Reiki for the student and also empowers the symbols with more effective healing energy. In the Ignition process, the teacher's energy stays more completely out of the experience thus allowing a purer and more powerful form of energy to interact directly with the student. Ignitions are thoroughly explained and demonstrated in class and are clearly described in the Karuna Reiki® manual.

The Karuna II symbols have a higher vibration. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a deeper level. While they have specific purposes discussed in class, the experience of their energy allows intuitive guidance in their use.

Both levels of Karuna Reiki® and both Ignitions will be given as well as instruction and practice on the use of all nine symbols. You will be able to teach both levels after taking this class.

Lots of practice time is included for giving treatments and using the symbols.

We will also be doing chanting and toning with the Karuna Reiki® symbols.

Come network with other Reiki Masters from all over the country and often the world! This is an exciting workshop with lots of dedicated, high energy people.

A certificate and a manual is included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and each attunement process.

You will also be offered the opportunity to become a "Registered Karuna Reiki® Master" with The International Center for Reiki Training. You will then be able to use our manuals and your student certificates for Karuna Reiki® will come from the Center. If you would like more information on becoming this process, please contact us.

Please read the section on Holy Fire Reiki at http://www.reiki.org/holyfire.html

This workshop is a deeply healing experience

Road to Hana

The road to Hana is one of the most scenic roads in the world. Winding in and out of tropical valleys high above the ocean, with many views overlooking the rugged coast line hundreds of feet below; the experience is breathtaking. The road is very twisty and windy with multiple switchbacks and many 10 mph sections and also includes 56 one lane bridges. Many of the fern lined valleys have waterfalls with some visible from the road and others requiring a short hike. Some have pools below the falls you can swim in. There are also many beautiful beaches. While the road is only 50 miles long, it takes 2 hours to drive if you go straight through. However, those wanting to play under the waterfalls and stop at the parks and scenic areas will want to take 4 hours or even most of the day to get to Hana.

A guide book will be helpful. I suggest Maui Revealed, by Andrew Doughty and Harriett Friedman.

Hana is a very quiet, relaxing and beautiful place.

Camping and Cabins
At Waianapanapa State Park near Hana, you can rent cabins or camp. Call State Parks to make reservations (well in advance) 808-984-8109 Camping $5/night, cabins $45/night.

Food
Hana has two small stores, three restaurants and a bar. While the food at the restaurants is good, it's also a good idea to bring food with you to prepare in your room. Since the selection in Hana is sparse, it's a good idea to shop for food in Kahului or Paia before driving to Hana.

Transportation
Fly into Kahului, Maui, rent a car and drive to Hana, or you can also fly directly into the Hana airport - Pacific Wings - (but you'll miss the great drive, and being able to shop for groceries). Since most flights arrive in the afternoon, it's advisable to stay in the Kahului area over night the day you arrive, then drive to Hana the next day, although some students do drive to Hana the day they arrive.

Texas Students and others.
Delta Airlines flies non-stop from Houston and other airports into Kahului, Maui and  American flies non-stop from Dallas airport.

Entertainment
Hana is a very small and quiet place. There is only one quiet bar in the Hana Hotel that features Hawaiian music, no movie theaters, nothing else open at night.

Students share about their Maui Reiki experience

I experienced a fabulous healing and acceptance of myself as well as meeting my spiritual guides, learning symbology and new healing techniques.  Doing this in Hawaii where Mrs. Takata brought Reiki felt like her presence was always with us.  The group outings to Hamoa beach and Red Beach allowed us to experience each other together at play and also cleansed us with salt water bathing and the sun shining on us.  I intend to go to more waterfalls and walk the bamboo forest for more spiritual experiences and ground myself in the process more thoroughly before returning home to New England.  Cynthia Rader

It is especially helpful that William Lee Rand is knowledgeable about so many styles of Reiki and is able to answer so many questions about metaphysics and the spiritual  path; concise yet in-depth and a great hands on experience. It is exponentially supported by the environment being in Maui.  Talk about sacred space!  I felt embraced, held in the bosom of Mother Nature – guided by an exceptional man, creating a hugely healing experience.  Eve Montealegre

This Hawaiian Reiki experience has reaffirmed my spiritual connection with the islands as well as offering me the opportunity to become a Reiki Master.  The beauty, serenity and holiness of the island enhanced the level of sharing and the trust among each student and the teacher and created a powerful energy throughout the Reiki treatments and attunements.  Being able to learn from William Lee Rand has been an additional highlight of this divinely organized Reiki experience for me.  Nancy Herrick

The beauty that surrounds you in Hawaii puts you in the right frame of mind to experience Reiki at its best.  I truly enjoyed the exotic lunch breaks at the beach as they helped to ground me and let go of all the energy and processing during class.  The energy of the town itself (Hana) I believe helped to intensify the experience.  Donna McCondichie

William Lee Rand
