Contact Hours for Nurses
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's COA.
Approval for contact hours through the AHNA is based on an assessment of the educational merit of this program and does not constitute endorsement of the use of any specific modality in the care of clients.
This means that all nurses in every state are eligible to receive contact hours from AHNA for attending these classes. Contact hours are awarded as indicated below.
Contact hours are awarded as follows
Reiki I – 7.25 hours – Approval Code 832 exp: Oct. 24, 2013
Reiki II – 7.5 hours – Approval Code 833 exp: Oct. 24, 2013
ART – 6.25 hours – Approval Code 834 exp: Oct. 24, 2013
Reiki III/Master – 12.5 hours – Approval Code 835 exp: Oct. 24, 2013
Karuna Reiki ® Master 18 contact hours – Approval Code 965 exp: Nov 12, 2014
Pre-req. for Karuna Reiki ® Master is experience as an Usui Reiki Master. The Karuna Master class includes both the practitioner and master levels.
We are also an approved provider (#13393) with the California Board of Registered Nursing for all of our Reiki classes.
Contact Hours Available for Massage Therapists and Body Workers
THE ICRT is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing Education Approved Provider (#158493-00).
Reiki I 9 contact hours
Reiki II 9 contact hours
Advanced Reiki Training 7.5 contact hours
Reiki III/Master Training 14.5 contact hours
Karuna Reiki ® Master 22 contact hours
How to Receive Credit
To receive contact hours, please inform the Center when registering for class that your are a licensed nurse, massage therapist or occupational therapist and that you would like to receive credit hours, and the necessary forms and paperwork will be prepared for you.
You must also: Attend all parts of the educational activity; participate in group practice sessions; and return demonstration of Reiki techniques
