Karen Harrison, Ed.S., LPC, LMFT: In her article, Reiki Aura Clearing and Psychotherapy in the summer 2003 issue, Karen says: "I have found Reiki to be a useful adjunct to my counseling practice. It has improved the quality of my work and decreased the number of sessions necessary to produce significant healing and recovery for many of my patients." Karen Harrison has been a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselor for twelve years and a Reiki practitioner for the past ten years and has recently become a Licensed Reiki Master Teacher with the ICRT. She is in private practice and also supervises therapists working on their licensure credentials after they finish their graduate degrees. She was an adjunct professor of marriage and family therapy at the University of Missouri--Kansas City for five years. Ann Eskridge: has been involved with media for almost thirty years as a reporter, writer, teacher, and video producer. She has written freelance articles for numerous magazines and newspapers and is also the author of a children's book, "The Sanctuary," published by Cobblehill.
