The Reiki Webstore/Vision Publications is the sole owner of the order information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others. The Reiki Webstore/Vision Publications collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
Free Online Reiki Newsletter
In order to receive your free online Reiki newsletter, we request that you submit your email address and zip code or country which is automatically placed on the Free Online Newsletter list operated by the International Center for Reiki Training. This information is used to send your free newsletter. The zip code or country may be used to send specific information pertinent to your area, state or country. The Reiki Webstore/Vision Publications and the International Center for Reiki Training does not share, sell or give your Email address to anyone. Those on the newsletter list may also be sent information pertaining to the release of the latest issue of the Reiki News Magazine, dates of Reiki classes or other educational information concerning current issues in the Reiki community.
We request information from the users on our web store order form. Here a user must provide contact information including name, address, phone, email, shipping address, credit card number and expiration date. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user. From time to time we may use your email address to send out information about Reiki classes William Lee Rand is scheduled to teach in your area.
Credit Card Numbers
Your credit card number is encrypted as soon as you enter it into our system with only the last four numbers being visible for identification purposes. Your credit card number remains encrypted at all times and cannot be viewed by employees or staff members.
Reiki News Magazine
If you have a subscription to the Reiki News magazine, you may be sent a notice reminding you that your subscription is about to end or if your subscription has run out, you may be sent a notice reminding you it has run out and asking you if you'd like to renew your subscription. If you've never had a subscription, you may be sent an email letting you know about the magazine and how to subscribe.
This website takes every precaution to protect our users information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.
When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number-see above) that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure that our customer's information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment, in a locked room.
Correction/Updating Personal Information:
Our system is set up to allow each user to make corrections to his or her contact information. If your contact information has changed, please make corrections by going to the link marked my account at the top of each page.
